Our Focus Areas
Designed to make a lasting Impact
Holistic approach
We take a holistic approach to make sure our children and those we work with are well taken care of in all aspects of their lives focusing on these 5 basic needs: Food, Shelter, Clothing, Healthcare and Education.
Passionate team
Our team is very dedicated and leads from the front. From the CEO to volunteers, everyone is driven by the desire to make an impact and change lives, one after the other.
Community Engagement
We work with the communities we serve by engaging them in planning, decision making, and execution through volunteer activities ensuring our impact is trully felt. These include from teachers, parents, community elders and local governments.
School Feeding Program
We run a School Feeding Program at Chepchori Primary School, Nandi County, Kenya providing lunch for all students from Monday to Friday. With this program no child has to make the miles long walk home and back during their lunch break. For those whose parents cannot afford a meal, this is life changing as now they don’t have to go hungry and can fully focus on their studies.
We are now seeking $20,000 to continue this program next year and build a Dining Hall.
USA Feed the Elderly Program
We work with other local organizations to collect and distribute food to our elderly community here in Alabama, USA. We also donate to Shelter Services like the Shelby County Emergency Center. Over the weekends we deliver healthy and nutritious foods to those in remote villages and unable to go shopping by themselves.
Youth Mentorship, Empowerment & Sports
We work with the youth to guide them through mentorship, life skills development, and career support. We organize sporting events such as Community Races to build confidence, discipline, and community. For career development we have a Community Computer Center for anyone to take Computer classes, apply for jobs, learn online and browse the internet.
Health & Humanitarian Support
We provide medical aid, shelter, and relief to vulnerable school going children. We work with teachers and school administration to identify children from poor families needing medical care then take them to hospital and cover their medical bills. In the future we plan to offer medical camps for the community so as to make health care accessible to all members of our community.
We are now seeking $20,000 to continue this program next year and build a Dining Hall.
Gender Equality & GBV Prevention
We work with female athletes and other sports women to empower and educate them against Gender Based Violence. In our community there have been instances of female athletes facing GBV perpetrated by a spouses, close confidants and sometimes a member of their team. Inua Life Foundation educates and empowers these ladies ensuring they don’t fall victim.
Cultural Preservation & Education
Some cultures in our community are at the brink of extinction. We work with the elderly in our community to preserve their knowledge, educate the young and pass it on to the next generation. Through community awareness events, cultural festivals and competitions, we hope to preserve and continue the rich and diverse cultures in our community.
